36' Fiberglass Sailboat Heritage West Indies in Melbourne Beach, Florida

My family is the second owner of this sail boat and has had it for 24 years. Usually spent summers in the keys with it. Lots of fun. My stepdad loved the boat and passed away last year and it has been sitting ever since. He put in $5,000 worth of stainless portholes in it about a year or two ago. The yanmar diesel engine just had the water pump replaced and new batteries a few months ago. The engine is either a 25 or 30hp and runs good. The sails are older and haved been repaired a couple of times but work fine and have been wrapped in their cover as shown in the pictures. The boat is docked on a month to month basis in Melbourne Florida and it can be transferred to the new owner -- the cost is $485 per month and includes electricity. The boat dock is paid up through the end of the month and is included. What you see in the picture comes with it. This docking area is very good because all you get on the hull is the easy to clean green slime but no barnacles. This is a large boat with a 40' high mast so putting it in your back yard and such is a big deal. Now for the issues with it -- we had scheduled for next to repair is the front and rear hatches -- they have started to leak and now the inside has that musty, damp smell starting so these will need to be repaired/replaced and the inside cleaned out completely and an ozone generator would be ideal. It needs a good bleach cleaning on the outside. The boat has been sitting for 7+ months. The lines have all been left out in the sun so before you go anywhere would recommend complete replacement of all the lines. This is a very solid figerglass boat that has lots of life left in it but needs someone to take good care of it. This is a no reserve auction and the boat is being sold in as is condition. You are welcome to come and see it. It is at the Waterline Marina in Melbourne on A1A with the two cross streets being Sarno Rd and Harbor City Blvd. My stepdad new everything about the boat but we only know the basics about it. Please don't bid on this if you aren't serious and don't have the money in your account. We want the boat to go to someone who will enjoy it and take good care of it -- so the price we sell it for is secondary. Thanks for looking. We have the clear title. On Feb-09-23 at 11:50:36 PST, seller added the following information:* This sailboat only has one mast so please ignore the ketch part*On Feb-09-23 at 12:20:08 PST, seller added the following information:*Ebay requires a model to put the listing in and Endeavor was the closest to this model but it is not an Endeavor this is a Heritage West Indies  (eighth hull in the series) which wasn't in their drop down menu*On Feb-09-23 at 12:22:42 PST, seller added the following information:https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/west-indies-36-morganOn Feb-12-23 at 11:32:24 PST, seller added the following information:The people at the marina aren't letting anyone in to see the boat without us there.
